Thestrongorientationofthetranscrystallinelayeringlass-fiber/polypropylenecompositeshasaffectedthemechanicalpropertiesofcompositematerialsbyalteringinterfacialstructureanddrawnmuchinterest.Experimentalstudiesonsinglefiberpolypropylene(PP)matrixcompositesbythefragmentationtestshadshownthattranscrystallinityincreasedtheefficiencyofstresstransferatthefiber-matrixinterface[1],thusincreasingtheinterfacialshearstrength.However,someresearchershadshownthattranscrystallinitycoulddecreasetheinterfacialshearstrengthbypull-outtests[2-3].Othersalsoconcludedthatthepresenceofatranscrystallineinterphasedidnothaveanysignificantinfluenceonthefiber–matrixadhesionbyusingatensiletestingmachine[4].
