Thethermalliquidcrystalpolymer(TLCP)/Polyphenylenesulphide(PPS)in-situmicrofibrilsblendfibrewaspreparedbymeltblending.TheNon-isothermalcrystallizationkineticsofPPS/TLCPblendfibrewasstudiedbydifferentialscanningcalorimetry(DSC)andJeziornymodelwasutilizedtoanalyzetheparameters.Besides,themorphologyofblendandthemicrofibrilsofTLCPwereobservedthroughscanningelectronmicroscope(SEM).TheresultsshowedthatthemicrofibrilsofTLCP,whichactedasaheterogeneousnucleationagentinthecourseofblendingwithlinearPPSmatrix,increasedtheonsetcrystallizationtemperatureandloweredthehalftimet1/2,thusacceleratedthecrystallizationprocess.
