Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and high density polyethylene (HDPE) are two
polymers mostly used in package and packing industry. From recycled PET almost
only fibers are produced because the lost of melt viscosity due to thermal, physical
and chemical degradation which takes place into injection-blow molding process,
when bottles for carbonated drinks are being manufactured. |
